  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cookie dough (pre-made or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Place dollops of cookie dough on top of the brownie layer.
  9. Spread the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes
