1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Notes
For added flavor, you can mix in some chopped onions.
