- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the sour cream, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
- Spoon half of the muffin batter into the prepared muffin cups, then add a layer of the cinnamon sugar mixture, followed by the remaining batter on top.
