Country Ranch Green Beans and Potatoes with Bacon

A delicious and healthy twist on a classic side dish, featuring green beans and potatoes sautéed with turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the diced potatoes. Cook for about 10 minutes until tender.
  2. Add the green beans to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. While vegetables are cooking, sauté chopped turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  4. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot. Add the sautéed turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
  5. Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on top before serving.
