Creamy Lemon Chicken Piccata

A rich and flavorful creamy lemon chicken piccata that is easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Flatten chicken breasts for even cooking.
  2. Dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
  3. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers; bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and remaining butter.
  7. Add chicken back to the skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a brighter flavor, add more lemon juice to the sauce.
  • Serve over pasta or rice for a complete meal.
