- 8 ounces turkey bacon
- 1 pound cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add olive oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and thyme, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
