Creamy Scalloped Potatoes

A delicious and creamy twist on the classic scalloped potatoes with the addition of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 2 pounds potatoes, sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  3. Sprinkle half of the crumbled turkey bacon and chicken ham over the potatoes.
  4. In a bowl, mix together cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour half of the cream mixture over the first layer of potatoes.
  6. Repeat layers with the remaining potatoes, bacon, ham, and cream mixture.
  7. Top with shredded cheese and dot with butter.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or parsley.
  • Make sure the potatoes are sliced thinly for even cooking.
