Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Pasta

  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add turkey bacon. Cook until crispy.
  3. Add mushrooms and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
