- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- In your crockpot, combine the chicken thighs, butter, onion, garlic, and ginger.
- Sprinkle the garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder over the mixture and stir.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and mix well.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and sugar during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot with rice or naan.
