- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
