Dump and Go Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

A delicious and easy recipe for Beef Stroganoff that you can prepare and forget about while it cooks in your crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper on top of the beef.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. Before serving, stir in the sour cream.
  5. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions and serve the beef mixture over the noodles.

Notes

  • This recipe can also be made with other cuts of beef like sirloin or flank steak.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like peas or carrots during the last hour of cooking.
