Easy Creamy Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

A delicious and easy recipe for creamy scalloped potatoes topped with turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes thinly.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and milk over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic, salt, and pepper to the cream mixture.
  5. Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish, then pour half of the cream mixture over them.
  6. Sprinkle half of the cheese and half of the cooked turkey bacon on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream, cheese, and bacon.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Make sure the potatoes are sliced uniformly for even cooking.
