- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and chop.
- Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned.
- Stir in the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Add the chopped turkey bacon back into the pot along with the beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
