Easy Homemade Chili

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and chop.
  2. Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the chopped turkey bacon back into the pot along with the beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
