  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then sear them for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the steaks and add the baby potatoes to the skillet, cooking until golden.
  5. Add garlic, butter, and thyme, stirring well.
  6. Return the steaks to the skillet and transfer to the oven to finish cooking for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with potatoes.

Notes
