  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until fully combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and drizzle the caramel sauce on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
