  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fondant
  • 1 black edible marker
  • 1 cup buttercream frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool completely before decorating.
  10. Cover the cake with buttercream frosting and smooth out with a spatula.
  11. Roll out the fondant and cover the cake.
  12. Use the black edible marker to draw Hello Kitty’s eyes and whiskers.
