- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pie crust
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a pan, cook turkey bacon and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent.
- Add flour and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually add chicken broth and milk while stirring.
- Mix in chicken, turkey bacon, vegetables, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture into the pie crust and cover with another crust.
- Cut slits in the top crust and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Notes
- Let the pie cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- For a crispy crust, brush with egg wash before baking.
