Loaded Scalloped Potatoes

A delicious twist on classic scalloped potatoes, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Pour half of the cream and milk mixture over the layers.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil, add remaining cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some chopped green onions as a garnish.
  • This dish can be prepared a day in advance and baked when ready.
