- 4 cups canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until soft.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes and chicken broth, then stir in the basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
