- 1 whole chicken
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the whole chicken and simmer until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add butter and milk to the dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the boiling broth.
