Overnight Crème Brûlée French Toast

A rich and creamy overnight crème brûlée French toast that is easy to prepare and perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 loaf brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking dish and cut the brioche into thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Place the bread in the dish and pour the mixture over it, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  6. For a caramelized top, sprinkle sugar and broil for a few minutes until golden.
