Potatoes Au Gratin with Roasted Garlic

A creamy and flavorful dish combining roasted garlic, turkey bacon, and layers of potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 head roasted garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes.
  3. Spread half of the roasted garlic and turkey bacon over the potatoes.
  4. Pour half of the heavy cream over the layers.
  5. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Dot the top with butter and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes

  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Pair with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
