- 1 liter whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands
- 1/2 cup rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds and pistachios)
- Heat milk in a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Add the soaked rice and cook until the rice is tender.
- Stir in the sugar, cardamom, and saffron. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
