Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

A delicious twist on classic scalloped potatoes with the addition of chicken ham for an indulgent flavor.

  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 2 cups diced chicken ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  3. Top the potatoes with half of the diced chicken ham.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chicken ham.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, chicken ham, and cheese.
  6. In a bowl, combine heavy cream, butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour over the layered dish.
  7. Bake for 45-60 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped onions or bell peppers between the layers.
  • Use a mix of your favorite cheeses for a different taste.
