- 1 pound chicken thighs
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 2 cups carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup peas
- In a slow cooker, layer the chicken thighs on the bottom.
- Add the chopped carrots, celery, onion, and garlic over the chicken.
- Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble and add to the slow cooker.
