  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix with dry ingredients.
  4. Pour the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity halfway.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped strawberries, and powdered sugar to make the filling.
  6. Insert a dollop of filling into each donut cavity, then cover with more batter.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before removing from the pan.
  9. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.

Notes

  • These donuts are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to 2 days.
