Stuffed Italian Meatloaf

A delicious twist on traditional meatloaf featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped turkey bacon, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the diced chicken ham with a little bit of additional seasoning if desired.
  4. Mold half of the turkey mixture into a loaf shape on a baking sheet.
  5. Make a groove down the center and fill with the chicken ham mixture.
  6. Top with the remaining turkey mixture, sealing the edges carefully.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
  • Pair with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
