Thick and Chewy Monster Cookies

A delicious recipe for thick and chewy monster cookies that you can easily make at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool on wire racks.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, do not overbake!
  • You can store these cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
